The ‘Vidya Dhanam’ project is dedicated to offering educational assistance to children from underprivileged backgrounds, with the goal of enhancing their academic performance. Project Vidya Dhanam includes following activities –
- Providing support for children in regular studies and offering remedial education tailored to those struggling academically.
- Focusing on strengthening fundamental literacy skills and numerical abilities to improve academic performance.
- Aiming to help children cope with their grades effectively.
- Extending benefit to 145 children through various educational interventions.
- Offering interventions at the Vidya Dhanam Remedial Education Center in Dnyan Prabodhini School, Sade Satra Nali, Hadapsar, and another center in Kharadi, Pune.
- DRF has initiated a weekly mobile library for children, offering storybooks, informative texts, and materials to improve their language skills. In collaboration with the NGO Akshar Paul, DRF has launched this initiative. Children provide brief feedback after reading, fostering their interest in reading and literacy development.
